Hello! My name is Amanda and I am the creator of Factor V designs. I have been sewing for 16 years. I took two classes in high school and got hooked. Since then I have mostly taught myself anything I didn't know. My brand name was inspired from a medical condition called Factor V Leiden, which is a genetic disorder for blood clotting. That's my other passion, medicine. That's why I am also in nursing school getting my RN license and this helps pay for that. Besides being able to create custom handmade clothing, I also have a Cricut which aids in my ability to create designs for baby bodysuits, t-shirts, bags, and so on!
